For the earth will be filled with the KNOWLEDGE of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea Habakkuk 2:14

The Age of Knowledge is what I call the times we live in, the dispensation that is a recipient of the past events that have shaped humanity and are still shaping humankind.

One remarkable thing about knowledge is that it all begins from our querying, inquiring, and asking, wanting to know, to becoming aware and conscious of our internal and external environment. This curiosity drives our thinking, which ultimately shapes our mindset that defines our reality.

The basic form of knowledge, in my opinion, is information that is seen in the gathering of data in an intelligent pattern, which leads to the manipulating of the data in creating an edge when viewed in relationship with the current situation.

Learning is another aspect of knowledge that has reinforced it over different periods. The acquisition of information is very dynamic and not static. It functions on the platform of continuity, not throwing away the past now, instead of building on what was received in the beginning and improving upon it through refining.

In this episode, I have spent some time talking about knowledge from my perspective and how I perceive it. There is so much information at our disposal today, but can we say that these pieces of information at our disposal translate to knowledge that can transform our lives?

The concept of knowledge has several definitions;

  • Knowledge: Facts, information, and skills acquired through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding.
  • Awareness or familiarity is gained by experience of a fact or situation.

These things stand out for me when viewing the concept of knowledge, and that is;

  • Awareness
  • Learning and,
  • Edge.

When the above is activated in its proper proportions, knowledge will occur. For me, knowledge is all about one's level of awareness that gives them an edge on the premise of continuous learning

This generation is surrounded by so much information that one wonders why we make inevitable mistakes.

For God gives revelation and Google gives information, what we do with these two to bring about our desired transformation is our responsibility.
